Summary

Amends the:

Social Security Act 1991
and
Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986
to provide that fortnightly incentive payments made to young job seekers undertaking internships under the Youth Jobs PaTH do not affect social security payments or veterans’ entitlements; and
Social Security (Administration) Act 1999
to provide that young job seekers employed by a Youth Jobs PaTH employer may have their social security payments suspended rather than cancelled in certain circumstances.
